To help support each other in the fight against anti-Asian racism, we’ve compiled the following list of Canadian resources:

Health Resources

• Asian-Canadian Therapist Directory from US-based Asian Mental Health Collective

• The Colour Project — Vancouver-based, text-based, and anonymous peer support for mental health. (For immediate support, seek a crisis helpline i.e. Crisis Services Canada)

• Crisis Services Canada — Suicide prevention service with a 24/7 phone line.

  • Resources for marginalized communities

• Detox Local — US-based site with 41 resources to support AAPI mental health and those struggling with addiction. Includes virtual resources accessible to Canadians.

• Fraser Health — Mental health and substance abuse resources available in Arabic, Farsi, and Punjabi.

• Roshni Clinic — Surrey-based program to support South Asians 19+ dealing with alcohol/substance abuse.

• ACT2ENDRACISM — Reporting system for racial attacks, resources, and stories. Resources available in various languages.

• Butterfly — Advocacy and support for Asian and migrant sex workers.

• Chimo — Community Services including support for immigrants, counselling services, community engagement, and more. Service is offered in a variety of languages.

• Chinese Canadian National Council for Social Justice

• Elimin8hate — Provides a safe and anonymous reporting system for Asian-Canadians experiencing racial violence, as well as resources.

• Fight COVID Racism — Provides a reporting system for racial violence, an incident map and timeline, as well as other resources.

• project 1907 — Grassroots organization created by Asian women providing access to a reporting system (in partnership with Elimin8hate) and plenty of educational resources.

• Sher Vancouver - Support for South Asian members of the LGBTQ+ community.

• South Asian Women Association of Canada

• South Asian Women’s Centre — A non-profit organization based in Toronto providing supports for South Asian women.
